  2027 Internship, Geotechnical Engineering   As our Geotechnical Engineering Intern, you will perform monitoring and reporting on seismic activity, participate in ground support projects, and perform rock bolt pull testing in a producing mining operation. You’ll start every job with safety first by inspecting your workplace and your equipment.    * Here’s what you can expect in this role:  * Training first. Every hire is provided MSHA training in the first 4 days on the job. We also provide department-level training on not just what to do, but safety, as well.  * You will perform fieldwork in an underground mining environment.  * Safety is important. Every piece of equipment and each work area must be inspected before we start the day for your safety and the safety of your team.  * You will be paid, and have access to medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401 (k) with company match. Housing will be provided.  * Internships occur between May and September 1, 2027. * You will be a part of team you can rely on, a team that will have your back.  Qualifications: * Must be enrolled in school for the Fall 2026 semester in geotechnical engineering, mining engineering, geology, or related field.  * Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing.
