About the Program Rosendin's paid 12-week Summer Internship Program provides students with real-world experience working alongside experienced safety professionals on active construction projects. As a Safety Intern, you'll gain exposure to health, safety, and environmental programs that help protect our employees, clients, and communities. Working closely with HSE Specialists and project teams, you'll apply classroom learning in a fast-paced construction environment while developing the foundation for a career in construction safety. Successful candidates demonstrate: Coachability & Curiosity - Eager to learn, seek feedback, and take initiative Accountability & Work Ethic - Takes ownership, follows through, and delivers high-quality work Learning Agility & Adaptability - Thrives in fast-paced environments and quickly applies new knowledge Collaboration & Communication - Works effectively with others and communicates clearly and professionally What You Bring to Us You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a graduation date of December 2027 or later in a field aligned with Rosendin’s work including but not limited to: Rising junior or rising senior status strongly preferred Occupational Health & Safety Public Health Prior construction or safety‑related internship experience is a plus, but not required Ability to spend significant time on active construction sites (approximately 80%) Working Conditions Work includes standing, walking, sitting, typing, bending, and light lifting Primary work location is active construction sites with varying environmental conditions Noise levels range from low to high depending on jobsite activity Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs Rosendin complies with ADA and applicable state laws and provides reasonable accommodation when possible Pay Range $25.00-$28.00 Hourly Pay Range The pay range for this role is what we expect to pay for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description.
