Assistant Mechanic – Entry Level

Assistant Mechanic – Entry Level Pine Lake Companies is seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level Assistant Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of company vehicles, landscaping equipment, and small engines. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge who is interested in learning and developing their skills. Responsibilities * Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs on trucks, trailers, mowers, and landscaping equipment * Perform oil changes, tire changes, filter replacements, and other preventative maintenance * Help diagnose mechanical issues under the direction of the Lead Mechanic * Clean, organize, and maintain the shop, tools, and work areas * Pick up parts and supplies as needed * Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repairs * Follow all company safety procedures * Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications * Basic mechanical knowledge or a strong interest in learning * Previous experience working with vehicles, small engines, or landscaping equipment is preferred but not required * Ability to use basic hand and power tools * Dependable, organized, and willing to learn * Ability to follow instructions and work well with others * Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record * Ability to communicate in English or Spanish Physical Requirements * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds * Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in different positions for extended periods * Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions * Ability to safely operate tools and mechanical equipment Schedule Full-time position.
