Delivery Truck Driver

We have a delivery truck driver opening in New Berlin, WI and are looking for the best to join our team.    This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.  In this position you will:  * Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while strictly following Amarr’s policies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections, log books, safe driving, etc.).   * Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.   * Assist in the completion of production orders in warehouse when not driving.  * Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).   * Unload and accurately receive incoming product.   Requirements:   * Valid driver's license.  * Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).  * Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.  * Warehouse duties performed in a non-climate controlled environment.   * Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.  * Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).   * Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.  * Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program  * Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s s driver standards  * Must be 21 years of age   * High school diploma or equivalent.  The Details:  This position is Monday - Friday from 7:30am – 4pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries are needed.  The pay rate is $24-26/hr based on experience.
