Purpose To gain structured training and knowledge of early childhood education through hands-on modeling of best practices, ongoing guidance, and encouragement of reflective teaching. Routine Decision-Making Take all necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of children placed in teachers care. Formal Supervisory Responsibility None Description Work closely in assigned classroom with mentor teacher to build knowledge and skills in early childhood education. Engage in guided teaching experiences to develop practical skills in early childhood education. Engage in reflective mentor and coaching sessions to strengthen skills and improve early childhood education practices Observe classroom instruction and teaching practices to gain insight and support professional growth in early childhood education Engage in professional development, mandatory training, and classroom meetings to enhance skills through the mentoring experience.
