Job Description: The Engineering Intern will work with the Engineering team and operations departments to improve efficiency, quality and assist in creating and maintaining the 3D CAD parts library. Key Responsibilities: Assists in the development and maintenance of top assemblies in SolidWorks & NX Performs reverse engineering of parts, parts validation, and development of the 3D CAD parts library. Gathers and maintains detailed vendor data. Performs product analysis by cross-referencing physical parts with their respective 3D models for dimensional accuracy. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities for Success in this Position: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work closely with all members of the organization. Excellent organization and project management skills. Ability to juggle and manage competing tasks and demands and deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events. Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management. Strong attention to detail. Requirements Essential Qualifications: Pursuing a degree in technical degree or related field. Must be local to Orlando, FL. Must be available for 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Preferred Qualifications: Some knowledge of other CAD applications (NX, AutoCAD, Rhino). Manufacturing experience desired, does not need to be within the marine industry.
