Enterprise Risk Management Internship - Las Vegas

Interns are hired through a third-party vendor rather than directly by Southwest Gas. This internship is based in Las Vegas, NV. Please note that relocation support, including housing or moving assistance, is not provided for this opportunity.   Internship start date: November 2, 2026    Deadline to apply: October 9, 2026   We are looking for an intern to join our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team. The internship requires a minimum of 20 hours of work per week in a hybrid work environment. This internship will provide: * Real corporate experience in enterprise risk management * Hands-on learning across multiple risk areas * Mentorship from experienced professionals * Exposure to analytics, compliance, and business operations * Strong foundation for careers in risk, finance, audit, or consulting   The ideal candidate will have a curious, analytical mindset and possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal). During the internship, you’ll learn about: * ERM fundamentals * Business continuity and operational resilience * Compliance, governance, and internal controls * Corporate reporting and documentation practices * Data analysis, visualization, and governance, risk, and compliance tools (GRC) * Cross-functional teamwork in a real business environment   RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist with collecting and organizing risk-related data within the GRC tool  * Assist with identifying and documenting organizational risks * Assist with taking meeting notes and documenting action items * Assist with maintaining accurate ERM and business continuity documentation * Supporting process improvement initiatives * Other duties as assigned   REQUIREMENTS   * Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting, Management, Economics, Finance, Risk Management or a related field * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Must be in a senior, or master status * Excellent relationship-building skills * Excellent communication skills * Experience with Microsoft Office applications is a plus   SALARY DETAILS $22.00 - 27.00/hour Our History Southwest Gas Corporation was founded in 1931 and is a subsidiary of Southwest Gas Holdings Inc [https://www.swgasholdings.com/]. We provide natural gas service to Arizona, Nevada, and portions of California.
