Entry Level System Integration Technician

SAIC has an opportunity for an entry-level System Integration Technician.  In this role you will primarily assist with basic assembly, fabrication, and system support tasks while learning new skills on the job. Training and Mentor-ship will be provided to ensure candidates grow and advance in this role. Work will be on site in Panama City Beach, FL.  Occasional travel may be required Responsibilities: * Assist with the fabrication and assembly of components using basic hand and power tools * Perform basic tasks such as wiring, soldering, and packaging under the guidance of experienced team members * Learn and adhere to quality standards for assembly and fabrication * Support installation of systems and modifications, both in the workshop and at field locations.  * Read and follow technical instructions, such as mechanical and electrical drawings * Maintain a clean and safe work environment       QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  * High School Diploma or equivalent * No prior experience required; training will be provided * 1-2 years' experience is a plus, but not required * Ability to learn and follow technical instructions * Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (formal training or practical experience is a plus) * Strong work ethic and eagerness to develop new skills * Dependable team player who can follow instructions and work with minimal supervision once trained * Willingness to travel intermittently to support fieldwork   CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: * US Citizenship required * Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance and maintain a Secret clearance      .
