Description At ECS Composites, we manufacture rugged products used in military, aerospace, commercial, and industrial applications around the world. As part of our FabPad team, you'll help build and prepare custom cushion and foam components used in our products. Like working with your hands and seeing what you accomplished at the end of the day? This could be the job for you. Our FabPad team works Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, giving you three-day weekends, plus occasional Friday overtime during our busy season for those looking to earn even more. If you're dependable, ready to learn, and take pride in producing quality work, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Be Doing Build and assemble foam and cushion components according to work instructions and specifications Measure, mark, cut, shape, and fit foam materials Apply adhesives and assemble foam pieces to create finished cushion components Use templates, patterns, and measurements to ensure parts are made correctly Use hand tools, cutting tools, and other equipment safely and correctly Read work orders, drawings, and production instructions Verify materials and measurements before beginning work Inspect finished cushions for proper size, fit, appearance, and overall quality Trim and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or defective materials Keep materials and completed parts organized throughout the production process Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Work with your team to meet daily production goals Follow all safety procedures and quality standards Help identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency We're Looking for Someone Who Is: Reliable and dependable Comfortable working with their hands Able to accurately use a tape measure Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions Comfortable performing precise, hands-on work Able to work accurately while maintaining a steady production pace Positive and eager to learn A team player with a strong work ethic Able to work independently when needed Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Committed to producing clean, accurate, quality work Previous experience working with foam, upholstery, fabrication, or similar materials is helpful, but not required. We're willing to train the right person. Physical Requirements: Standing and walking throughout the shift Lifting and moving materials and finished products up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and kneeling Gripping, handling, cutting, and positioning foam and other materials Using hand tools and production equipment throughout the workday Performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Working around adhesives and other materials commonly used in cushion production Why You'll Love Working Here We work hard, but we also know how to have fun.
