Forklift Operator

Description Canyon Creek Cabinet Company is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse team! Canyon Creek has been a leading West Coast semi-custom cabinet manufacturer in the PNW for nearly 50 years! Full-time, Day Shift, 40 hours/week plus 8-10 hours of overtime per week during our peak season (occasional Saturday shifts). Requirements Essential Functions: Our Forklift operators are responsible to operate a forklift to move sheet stock in our cabinet manufacturing plant Day-to-day tasks include (but are not limited to): · Sliding/lifting of sheet stock from 1/4” to 3/4” thickness, and able to manually stock products received in warehouse · Pulling sheet stock per paperwork, and stacking in preparation for delivery to the mill department · Pulling material and filling orders for the manufacturing plant as needed · Loading and unloading of trucks outside and inside from the dock · Perform essential job functions while always following safety requirements · Ability to follow instructions thoroughly, and meet strict deadlines · Lifting to 70 lbs. throughout the day What we look for in forklift operators: · Previous forklift driving experience · Forklift certification preferred, but will be re-certified by Canyon Creek per company policy · Communicate effectively with other departments and individuals · Able to work independently with little supervision · Reliable · Positive attitude · Team player · Must be comfortable with change and consistent improvements · Must be organized and able to multi-task · Must be able to work both in a team and independently with little supervision. Salary: The compensation for this position is $26.35 - $31.89 hourly.
