Description

Position Overview: The Front Desk Security Staff is responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, answering and directing telephone calls, providing general information, and ensuring that visitors follow established sign-in and building access procedures. Staff will monitor the reception area and remain attentive to activity within and around the facility to help maintain a safe and secure environment. Working closely with center leadership, the Front Desk Security Staff will support the implementation and enforcement of organizational policies and procedures related to building operations, visitor management, health and safety, emergency preparedness, and fire and building safety codes. Staff will promptly communicate safety concerns, incidents, maintenance issues, or unusual activity to appropriate leadership and assist with emergency procedures when necessary. Position Qualifications: HS/GED, required NYS Security Guard License or Certificate, highly preferred. Experience working in customer service oriented Experience working with youth in a school or community setting. Fire Guard License, required.
