Business Development Associate Internship: Summer 2027 Job Overview: Our Business Development & Sales teams are seeking Summer 2027 interns. These positions would like the ideal candidates to be local to the San Diego, Austin, or Carolina’s office, functioning off a hybrid schedule at the intern and managers discretion. (2-3 days in the office) Business Development at LPL Financial is the initial point of contact between LPL & the Financial Advisors. BD interns help build the bridge with advisors seeking greater control over their professional and personal life & our recruitment team. The intern is responsible for driving lead flow into our recruitment teams in order to increase sales. Interest in the Sales/ Business Development industry Offer is contingent upon successful background screening and agreement to be local to the Fort Mill/Charlotte, Austin, or San Diego offices - Selected candidates will operate out of the office working on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office) Core Competencies: ·Organization and strong communication skills (verbal and written) ·Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Salesforce (CRM) ·Goal-oriented mindset with an eagerness to learn. Summer 2027 Internship Schedule: Full - time position for 10 weeks in the summer of 2027; Monday through Friday, working 40 hours a week during business operating hours. Internship dates: 6/1/2027 – 8/6/2027 PLEASE NOTE: This role follows a priority application approach.
