Discover your exciting role The Electrical Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the design and development of electrical systems for advanced facilities. This role offers practical exposure to engineering design, documentation, and collaboration, fostering technical growth in a dynamic project environment. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Assist in designing electrical systems, including power, lighting, controls, and grounding, for high-technology facilities. Support electrical engineering calculations for equipment sizing, feeder sizing, and equipment selection to meet project requirements. Contribute to the development of conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents, including power diagrams, equipment layouts, and system controls. Ensure designs are accurate, compliant with standards, and align with project goals. Provide specialized technical input to support design studies and specific project needs. Assist in preparing engineering studies and analyses to optimize system performance and efficiency. Work closely with project teams, other disciplines, and design offices to ensure seamless integration and project alignment. Foster strong communication and collaboration across all levels of the project team. Participate in additional tasks and assignments as needed to support the electrical engineering team and project success. Show your expertise Minimum Required Education: Must be pursuing bachelor’s degree Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Preferred Junior or Senior standing with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred Previous internship experience in a project team environment is a plus Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and electrical system design is advantageous Contact: You want to be part of the Exyte team?
