Intern Strategy & Transactions - Amsterdam (m/f/d)

What we look for: You support our Amsterdam team with strategic analyses, client materials, and local business development initiatives. You conduct market, industry, and competitor research and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and relevant developments. You support prospecting and lead-generation activities by identifying potential private equity clients, portfolio companies, and other business opportunities through desk research. You contribute to transaction-related projects, including commercial and digital due diligence, strategic analyses, market assessments, and digital business model evaluations. You explore digital business models and emerging technologies, including AI, and assess their relevance for investors and businesses. You prepare reports, slide decks, presentations, proposals, and other materials for client projects, investor analyses, and pitches. You maintain and expand internal knowledge resources, including best-practice materials, slide libraries, benchmarking databases, and whitepapers. What we require: You are currently pursuing a degree at a university (ideally in the Netherlands), in management, economics, computer science, or a related field, and achieve excellent academic results. You ideally have initial practical experience in strategy consulting, transaction advisory, business development, or project support. You demonstrate strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented working style. You have strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint. You are curious about digital business models, emerging technologies, AI, and market dynamics. You work independently, reliably, and proactively and take ownership of your work. You communicate clearly and enjoy working in a team. You are fluent in Dutch and English.
