Junior High School ELA Teacher

 POSITION OVERVIEW About the Position As a Junior High School ELA Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in students during a key stage of their development.  You will design dynamic lessons, build strong relationships, and create a supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education * Bachelor's degree in education or related field * Teacher certification preferred * Experience teaching elementary grades * Strong classroom management and communication skills * Excellent communication and technology skills Other Requirements * Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card by the time of hire. ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS * Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lesson plans * Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment * Assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet diverse needs * Communicate regularly with parents and guardians * Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and school culture * Participate in school events and activities * Complete additional duties in collaboration with the team to deliver an exceptional student experience * Maintains accurate, complete, legible and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation. * Takes necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
