Lab Retain

Responsible for the all activities involving sample handling including receiving, tracking, storage and disposal.  Primary Duties and Responsibilities     •    Responsible for logging in, tracking, correctly storing and disposing of all samples •    Familiar with American Petroleum Institute (API) procedures and documents as they relate to samples •    Familiar with EPA regulations governing samples particularly as they relate to disposal and maintenance of disposal records •    Carry out the assigned tasks in accordance with the latest industry standards and practices and in accordance with the specific instructions given by the Laboratory manager and/or supervisor •    Responsible for the correct preparation of all reports pertaining to samples •    Responsible for keeping retain and storage area clean, organized and free from safety hazards at all times •    Attendance at monthly safety meetings is required •    Safety Sensitive position that requires pre-employment, random and annual drug and alcohol testing (including marijuana testing).
