Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: Sunday- Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm
Position Summary:
Performs and coordinates schedule of preventative maintenance and necessary repair of equipment, machinery, tools, or buildings by performing the following duties.
Qualifications:
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
* Current Washington State Driver's License.
* Safe Driving Record.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Performs routine repairs and maintenance throughout the eliseo campus.
* Perform basic carpentry, drywall repair, painting, patching and general construction related work.
* Repair Walls, ceilings, doors, hardware, flooring, cabinets, fixtures and other building components
* Perform basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting, such as toilets, drains, faucets.
* Monitor water temperatures and report conditions outside established facility requirements.
* Perform basic inspection and maintenance of HVAC equipment
* Replace HVAC filters, and routine preventative maintenance.
* Monitor mini-splits systems, rooftop HVAC equipment, thermostats, fans and other mechanical equipment.
* Replace approved light fixtures, lamps, switches, receptacles and other components as permitted.
* Perform basic electrical maintenance within the employee’s training and authorization.
* Do not perform electrical work requiring a licensed electrician unless properly licensed and authorized.
* Assist with general grounds maintenance and exterior property upkeep.
* Assist with fire drills, emergency preparedness activities and facility inspections.
* Maintains records of planned and completed maintenance.
* Responds to work requests through the work order system as designated.
* Assists with set-up and breakdown of facility events and activities, as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.

Upon acceptance of an offer, candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, reference checks, and background check prior to starting work with eliseo. Upon first day of hire, all staff are required to provide documentation of influenza vaccination (Seasonally for Influenza).
