The trainee will work closely with licensed nurses and other healthcare professionals to learn proper care techniques, documentation, and communication skills. Ultimately, this role contributes to enhancing the quality of life for residents while fostering professional growth in the nursing field. Responsibilities: * Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating under supervision. * Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff. * Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents by following infection control and safety protocols. * Support mobility and exercise routines to promote residents’ physical well-being. * Participate in training sessions and complete assigned coursework to develop nursing assistant competencies. Skills: The Nursing Assistant (Trainee) will utilize communication skills daily to interact compassionately with residents and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team. Attention to detail is essential when observing and reporting changes in residents’ health status to ensure timely interventions.
