Operator - NIGHT SHIFT

Department: Operations Reports to: Plant Manager   Position Overview The Plant Production Operator is responsible for the safe operation of processing equipment and heavy machinery.    Key Responsibilities  * Monitor and adjust plant equipment to ensure the product is consistent and free from quality defects. * Maintain accurate records of equipment settings and product quality information. * Follow established equipment operating guidelines and recognize issues as they arise. * Communicate with supervisors and team members effectively. * Operate wheel loader and forklift equipment safely and efficiently. * Report on condition and items in need of maintenance. * Follow safety protocols and procedures while performing tasks, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).   Qualifications    Education: * High school diploma or equivalent required.   Experience:  * Previous experience in plant or industrial manufacturing operations or other related fields. * Loader and forklift experience preferred.   Skills * Familiarity with basic tools and equipment. * Adept at handling complex machinery. * Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills. * Ability to handle a physical workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.   Physical Requirements * Ability to work in an environment with dust and noise, and around equipment with higher than ambient temperatures. * Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. * Ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods.   Benefits Health Insurance - Health, dental, and vision benefits. 80% (employee) and 50% (dependents) of the premium cost is paid by Aero Aggregates. 401(k) plan + Company Match – plan for your future with our competitive program.
