No previous orthodontic or dental laboratory experience is required. We'll teach you everything you need to know through our paid, hands-on training program. What You'll Do As an Orthodontic Laboratory Production Technician, you'll help manufacture custom orthodontic appliances that improve patients' smiles and quality of life. Depending on your department, your work may include: Handcrafting custom orthodontic appliances using specialized tools and equipment. Bending orthodontic wires to precise specifications. Finishing and polishing stainless steel appliances. Operating laser welding and other manufacturing equipment. Working with acrylics, metals, and other specialty materials. Collecting, organizing, and processing customer cases. Inspecting your work to ensure it meets our quality standards. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Every appliance you complete is custom-made for an individual patient, making attention to detail and craftsmanship essential. Requirements What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Enjoys working with their hands. Pays close attention to detail. Takes pride in producing high-quality work. Has good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Learns quickly and enjoys developing new skills. Works well both independently and as part of a team. Is dependable and maintains excellent attendance. Enjoys repetitive, precision-based work. Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. No prior laboratory or dental experience required—we provide paid training. Schedule Monday through Friday, First Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Note, overtime is often required M-F with occasional Saturdays.
