Description
We're looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our team as a true generalist - someone who's energized by variety and comfortable wearing many hats. You'll play a key role in shaping the employee experience from end to end, supporting everything from onboarding to benefits administration, culture initiatives, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants broad exposure across the full People function, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being the go-to person for both strategic projects and day-to-day people operations.
We will invest in you. As we grow, there will be room to specialize or to keep building as a generalist.
This is the role that keeps our people operations running day to day. You will work closely with our People & Culture Manager daily across the full range of HR – ranging from onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, compliance, culture initiatives, benefits and more.
You'll also support Talent Acquisition as needed, including scheduling and keeping candidates moving through the process, plus handle the administrative work that keeps our P&C function running smoothly —-systems, trackers, and paperwork stay accurate and up to date under your watch. It isn't the most visible part of the job, but it's foundational to how we look after our people well.
Much of what you'll do is fast-moving and not yet fully defined. Part of the role is spotting where our processes have gaps, using your judgment to flag and address them, and building simple, repeatable ways of working where none exist yet. We won't expect you to have every answer on day one — we're looking for someone who can figure out the right one, and who wants to grow alongside the function.
* Strong organization and coordination skills, with the ability to juggle many moving parts without dropping the details.
* Sharp attention to detail across scheduling, data entry, and documentation.
* Clear, friendly communication with candidates, new starters, and busy technical teams.
* Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where processes are still being built.
* Good judgement and discretion handling confidential candidate and employee information.
* Confident with everyday tools — calendars, email, and spreadsheets — and quick to pick up an ATS or HRIS.
* A service mindset: you take pride in making other people’s work easier and their experience smoother.
* Able to work independently, prioritize sensibly, and follow through without being chased.
Useful but not essential
* Experience in a recruiting coordinator, HR coordinator, or people operations role.
* Familiarity with ATS platforms (for example Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever) or an HRIS or PEO system.
* Exposure to a scaling startup, scale-up, or deep-tech environment.
* Experience coordinating onboarding or interview logistics at volume.
* Training or certification in HR, recruiting coordination, or administration.
* Own onboarding end to end — from offer acceptance through the first 90 days — designing and refining the experience so day one and beyond consistently runs smoothly for new starters.
* Own offboarding end to end, ensuring departures are handled smoothly, consistently, and with the right documentation and follow-through every time.
* Partner closely with the People & Culture Manager daily across the full range of P&C activities and lead special projects as the function grows — building out new processes, tools, or programs as gaps are identified.
* Support core people operations — People records, documentation, and PEO and benefits administration — with accuracy and confidentiality.
* Support Talent Acquisition as needed with scheduling, interview coordination, and keeping candidates moving through the process.
* Be a reliable first point of contact for candidates, new starters, and the team on process and logistics questions.
* Handle sensitive candidate and employee information with discretion and good judgment.
* Competitive total compensation package, including salary and equity.
* Comprehensive health cover plan.
* 401(k) retirement plan or similar retirement support, in line with local norms.
* Paid time off and company holidays.
* Flexible working arrangements.
