Physician- MD/DO Direct Primary Care

Southern Oregon Wellness is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered MD or DO to join our growing direct primary care practice in Southern Oregon. This is an opportunity for a physician who wants to step away from the traditional high-volume, insurance-driven model and return to the heart of primary care: time with patients, meaningful relationships, prevention, and personalized medicine. Title: Family Medicine / Primary Care Physician — MD or DO Employment: Full-time or part-time Location: Southern Oregon Practice Model: Direct Primary Care Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care for patients across the lifespan Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Provide preventive care, annual wellness visits, and health-risk assessments Develop individualized treatment and wellness plans Build long-term relationships with patients and families Provide patient education and lifestyle counseling Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies Manage chronic disease using evidence-based approaches Coordinate specialty care when appropriate Participate in practice development and quality improvement Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide whole-person care Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Ideal Candidate We are looking for a physician who: Holds an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Is board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or another appropriate primary care specialty Holds or is eligible for an Oregon medical license Has excellent clinical judgment and communication skills Values preventive medicine and patient education Enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients Is comfortable practicing with a high degree of professional autonomy Is interested in innovative approaches to primary care Brings compassion, curiosity, and a genuine desire to improve patients' health and quality of life Experienced physicians and physicians early in their careers are encouraged to apply.
