Process Associate 1

The Process Associate I role is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate to learn and contribute to cell therapy in a fast-paced, collaborative biotechnology environment. Key Responsibilities: * Perform cell culture activities using aseptic technique, including media preparation, cell expansion, passaging, harvest, and cell counts and viability assessments. * Execute high throughput product fill, cell separation, recovery, and filtration activities with high precision, following established procedures and best practices. * Support assembly, testing, and preparation of kits shipped to clinical sites. * Provide hands-on support to Manufacturing, including GMP equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, and feedback on SOPs and Production Records. * Support process-related projects by executing assigned tasks, collecting data, and tracking progress against timelines. Help optimize workflows and streamline processes. * Analyze data, interpret results, and present findings at team meetings. * Identify and escalate potential process risks, quality issues, or safety concerns to engineering and manufacturing leads. * Draft and update process documentation, including SOPs, process flow diagrams, and batch records, under the guidance of senior team members. Maintain detailed experimental and process records. * Manage sample and reagent inventory, and support equipment calibration and maintenance. * Follow good documentation and good manufacturing practices in all activities, and collaborate with teams across Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Discovery. Required Qualifications: * BS or MS degree in Biology, Molecular/Cell Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related life science or engineering field. * 0–2 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory, biotechnology, cell therapy, or manufacturing environment (academic lab experience and internships count). * Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique; familiarity with cell separation, recovery, and filtration techniques. * Strong attention to detail, with the willingness to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy. * Strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to multitask within fast-paced timelines. * A genuine eagerness to learn, take on new challenges, and grow your skill set in a dynamic, evolving environment. * Clear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and comfort working both independently and collaboratively across teams.
