FORVIA is looking for a year-round Quality Intern for its location in Simpsonville, KY. Your mission, roles and responsibilities The main missions of the role are: Support the Quality Department within Faurecia. Assisting the plant with the planning and implementation of new products and /or changes to the manufacturing process. Working with Supervisors and the Production Managers to solve issues relating to the customer and other plant issues. Coaching quick response, quality control Reporting problem solving actions in the Faurecia Quality Systems. Supporting the FES &P Manager and Quality Engineers on Faurecia Quality Systems implementation and changes. Supporting the team on day-to-day activities. Interfacing and communicating with a diverse workforce. Other responsibilities: Ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations. Ensure respect for the environment and secure internal control of the plant. Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to promote and adhere to Faurecia’s code of ethics and code of management. Support and follow Being Faurecia values and convictions. Your profile and competencies to succeed The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum education level: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Metrology, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. Enrolled Full-time (12 credits per semester) Minimum 2.8 GPA. Experience: Prior industrial experience; preferably in automotive. Proficient level in English (bi-lingual Spanish a plus) Skills and competencies Self-Sufficient. Self-starter. Strong interpersonal and Team Skills Strong organizational skills Strong analytical skills.
