About the Role: As a Registered Nurse (RN) at UAB Medical West, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a safe and healthy work environment, enhancing the overall well-being of employees and their families. ****$10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS**** Minimum Qualifications: * Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama. * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: * Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs. * Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects. * Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
