School-based Behavior Technician (Part-Time & Full-Time)

At VBA, you'll work 1:1 with students, help support their path forward, and build skills that will fuel your career in behavioral health - all while working a schedule you can count on. $500 sign-on bonus for RBTs, $300 sign-on bonus for entry-level! Now hiring BTs to work in schools throughout east and south San Diego County, including El Cajon, La Mesa, San Carlos, Santee, College Area, Lakeside, Grossmont, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove, Bonita, and National City. What you'll do: Work 1:1 with children with special needs to build communication, self-help, social, and play skills Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs, adapting techniques to each student's needs Track progress through behavior data collection and clinical notes Attend ongoing training to sharpen your skills and grow your ABA career Pay & Schedule $20.00–$27.00/hour, plus paid drive time and mileage between sessions Consistent, school-day hours (typically 7:30 AM–3:30 PM) Part-time and full-time hours available; full-time starts at 30 hrs/week Full-time benefits (30+ hrs/week): Guaranteed hours for your first 30 days - no waiting on caseload to build before you start earning Paid sick leave and PTO Health, vision, and dental insurance Flexible Spending Account Life insurance 401(k) with company plan Cell phone stipend Referral bonuses for bringing new talent to VBA Get certified while you work: We pay for your training and shadowing as you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) certification, with direct support from BCBAs. Non-billable time, including training, is paid at prevailing minimum wage. Experience working with children and/or disabilities is desirable, but not required. We hire experienced RBTs and those just entering the field. If you’re passionate about helping kids learn, we’ll give you the training and guidance to succeed.
