Software Development Intern

Position Summary The Information Technology Intern provides day-to-day support for end user requests related to software, hardware, and peripherals and ensures timely resolution. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Assists in fielding support calls, chats, emails, or other communications from users * Applies basic knowledge of computer software & hardware to fix issues with assistance from the IT Team * Helps set up, replace, and maintain computers, software, and equipment  * Assists in maintaining and enhancing existing system integrations and custom applications, as well as design and implement new integrations and applications using modern development frameworks and tools  * Documents work and updates knowledge bases to support team learning and continuity  * Performs other related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS * Basic understanding of computers, software, and IT concepts * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization * Experience with or interest in learning technical tools such as PowerShell, SQL, Power BI, automation tools, or basic programming languages (e.g., C#)  * Strong organizational and time management skills required to be successful working in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Works in a temperature-controlled environment, with low noise levels * Prolonged periods of sitting required * Occasionally required to walk, stand, lift, pull, or push objects weighing up to 15 pounds
