Description

Software Engineer Intern Aru Labs is looking for a Software Engineer Intern to help us build and ship new internet products. You’ll work closely with a small team across frontend, backend, APIs, AI integrations, and product development. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn by building real products, not just completing assigned tasks. You’ll have the opportunity to take ideas from prototype → product → launch. What you’ll do Build and improve web applications across frontend and backend Develop user interfaces using React Build APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express Work with MongoDB and other databases Integrate third-party APIs and AI/LLM services Debug, test, and improve existing products Deploy applications and help maintain production systems Work with product and design to turn ideas into working experiences Prototype new ideas and iterate quickly based on feedback Learn how real products are built and shipped What we’re looking for Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Good understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript Familiarity with React and Node.js Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and web development Experience building personal projects, college projects, or side projects Comfortable learning new technologies independently Strong problem-solving skills Someone who enjoys building things from scratch You do not need to know everything. We care more about your ability to learn, build, and take ownership.
