The Hawkins Ash CPAs Spring Tax Internship offers an opportunity to develop your skills, build lasting relationships, and make a meaningful impact for clients. What you'll do:  * Gain hands-on tax-related experience * Participate in the January Intern Training event to help you obtain the technical skills needed to start contributing right away * Receive on-the-job training and real-world experience working with clients; putting what you learned in the classroom to use   * Have the opportunity to work directly with staff —from Associates to Partners— and learn directly from them * Prepare individual and business income tax returns * Conduct tax research and convey information to your supervisor * Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements to enable effective and informed decision-making * Demonstrate your work ethic, knowledge, and interest in joining Hawkins Ash CPAs full-time * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Our ideal candidate will: * Currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting * Have completed a corporate or individual taxation class * Actively be achieving credits to sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam * Have excellent skills in communication, organization, and attention to detail   * Exhibit strong computer skills, especially proficient in Microsoft Office   Hawkins Ash CPAs office locations: Brookfield • Green Bay • La Crosse • Manitowoc • Marshfield • Medford • Mequon • Neenah • Rochester • St. Charles • Winona
