The intern will assist the Supply Chain Manager with inventory planning, production scheduling, and continuous improvement forecasting projects. They will also support employee engagement initiatives and help balance inventories across distribution centers.

The Supply Chain Intern is “hosted” by the Supply Chain Department at one of our
manufacturing/distribution facilities, or headquarters.
The identified candidate for this program will start May 24, 2027 and end July
30, 2027 at our Fernley, Nevada site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Supply
Chain Manager with:
* Support and participate in employee engagement initiatives and site events to
promote a positive and workplace culture
* Working with the Inventory Planning Manager on monthly production, sales and
inventory projections for our plants
* Analyzing manufacturing supply network for our finished goods for US and
Canada with our Finished Good Sourcing team
* Assisting Master Production Schedulers with day-to-day report running
* Continuous Improvement Forecasting Projects
* Reviewing and analyzing statistical forecasts
* Identifying and reviewing low frequency purchased items / move to Make to
Order
* Inventory reduction projects – Updating IQR, Min Stock Reviews, Weekly Review
of “Always In” lists for top priority BU items.
* Understanding the systems in which Global Supply Chain Operates and where to
find information
* Helping the sites balance inventories at distribution centers
* Reviewing forecasts and batch sizes to ensure we’re making the appropriate
size
* Engage in early career development programming, including workshops, info
sessions, and networking opportunities through the GSC Program Team

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirement
* Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship or
co-op program
* Must have at least one (1) year of work experience using Microsoft Office
products such as Word, Excel and Power Point
* Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without
needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
* Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management ( e.g Industrial Management,
Supply Chain, Engineering Technology, Logistics with concentration in related
Operations field, etc).
* Have previous Sherwin-Williams Internship or Co-op experience
* Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work
experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.
* Be a rising or current junior or senior in college or university at the start
of the internship program
