4th Grade Teacher Location: Davidson Charter Academy – Lexington, NCEmployment Type: Full-Time, 10-Month Contract, 2026-2027 School Year Davidson Charter Academy (DCA) is a tuition-free public charter school committed to providing an innovative and rigorous academic program that prepares students for success. Davidson Charter Academy is seeking a passionate and qualified Elementary Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging, effective lesson plans that align with state standards. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. Valid North Carolina Educator’s License or eligibility to obtain one. Teaching experience working with elementary students. Strong classroom management skills. Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and the school community. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards. Salary & Benefits *Prorated based on start date Salary based on the NC Certified Teacher Salary Schedule, years of experience, and licensure status A possible 3% local supplement Up to 6% Employer 403(b) Contribution Match 10 PTO days per year (unused PTO rolls over until maximum accrual is reached) Paid Holidays Medical insurance available with an employer contribution toward premiums.
