Work Schedule: • Day Shift: 5:45 AM – 5:45 PM • Night Shift: 5:45 PM – 5:45 AM • Rotating schedule consists of one 36-hour work week and one 48-hour workweek. Shift Placement: During training, you will be assigned an available trainer. We do our best to accommodate shift preferences, but specific shift placement is not guaranteed. Part-Time Employment: Part-time positions are available only for fully trained, experienced dispatchers who have previously worked for our department. These positions are strictly as needed, with no guaranteed weekly hours other than a monthly minimum threshold. Hours may vary significantly (for example, 18 hours one week and none for several weeks). New hires are not eligible for part-time employment because: • The initial training covers only basic telecommunicator and dispatcher skills. Achieving full proficiency to qualify for part-time takes considerably longer.
