Description

We’re looking for a talented, detail-oriented Accountant Intern – PT to join our team. Under the direction of the Financial Analyst this role will be responsible for processing business transactions, handling account reconciliation, recording, creating internal/external reporting, and performing basic accounting functions. Key Responsibilities Reporting on financials, providing timely, accurate, and useful information to management for review and decision-making Working with principles to communicate and manage financial goals/deadlines for month-end processes Communicate with policyholders on refund issues as needed Reconcile monthly bank statements Collaborate with senior management to define and facilitate achievement of departmental goals Reconcile carrier payments with customer receipts Interpret data and identify trends to inform projects Compile, analyze, and present financial information to management Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to streamline operations Build positive, professional relationships with clients and co-workers Prepare payments to carriers by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements Reconcile company credit cards and employee Perks cards Develop, implement, and enforce budgets, policies, and controls to improve accuracy and efficiency Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently in progress) 0-2 years of accounting experience Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles Proficiency in Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel Excellent time management and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented and organized Why InsCipher?
