What you'll do
- Process and manage vendor invoices and payments.
- Monitor invoice due dates and accountspayableaging.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Track vendor credits, rebates, and returns.
- Maintainaccurateaccounting records across multiple locations.
- Assistwith monthly reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Support month-end accounting procedures.
- Identifyopportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
What you need
- Previousaccounts payable or accounting experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Lightspeed dealership management/accounting software preferred;proficiencywith Microsoft Excelrequired.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Strong communicationand problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Because this is a small department, dependable, consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to keeping daily accounting operations running smoothly, subject to applicable leave and accommodation requirements.
- Dealership, equipment, or inventory-based business experience is a plus.

Outdoor Equipment Co. is growing, and we're looking to add an experienced Accounts Payable & Accounting Specialist to our team at our Ray location. We're looking for someone organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of day-to-day accounts payable operations while supporting our financial team across multiple dealership locations. Key Responsibilities Process and manage vendor invoices and payments. Monitor invoice due dates and accounts payable aging. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Track vendor credits, rebates, and returns. Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple locations. Assist with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting. Support month-end accounting procedures. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency. What We're Looking For Previous accounts payable or accounting experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with Lightspeed dealership management/accounting software preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Excel required . Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize responsibilities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills . Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks. Dealership, equipment, or inventory-based business experience is a plus. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of $22.00–$26.50 based on experience. Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule.
