We're looking for a fun-loving, caring, and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team! If you enjoy arts and crafts, planning events, organizing outings, and bringing people together, this might be the perfect opportunity for you. You'll work alongside our Activities Team to create engaging experiences for residents with a variety of physical, cognitive, and social abilities. From creative projects and game days to music, holiday celebrations, and community outings, you'll help make each day something residents can look forward to. What You'll Be DoingBring the fun! Help plan and lead daily activities, games, crafts, exercise, music, and special events. Get creative! Come up with fresh ideas that keep residents engaged, entertained, and connected. Celebrate everything! Help decorate, plan holiday festivities, and make birthdays and special occasions memorable. Plan adventures! Coordinate community outings, excursions, and enrichment opportunities. Make everyone feel included! Adapt activities to residents' interests, abilities, and individual needs. Keep things organized! Assist with the activities calendar, supplies, reservations, and event planning while staying within budget. Encourage participation! Build relationships with residents and motivate them to try new things. Make a difference! Create a positive, welcoming environment filled with laughter, encouragement, and meaningful connections. Track the moments that matter! Document resident participation and observations in accordance with individual care plans. Connect with the community! Explore volunteer opportunities and partnerships that enrich residents' lives. What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who brings creativity, patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for helping others. Our ideal candidate is: Friendly, compassionate, approachable, and full of positive energy. Creative and comfortable leading group activities, crafts, games, and events. Patient and understanding when working with individuals with different abilities and needs. Organized, dependable, and able to juggle multiple activities and schedules. A team player who enjoys collaborating and bringing new ideas to the table. Flexible with scheduling, including holidays and special events. Experienced in recreational activities, arts and crafts, or a similar setting. Required QualificationsCurrent Arizona Caregiver Certification. Memory Care Certification. - Must obtain within 30 days of hire. Current 2-steptuberculosis screening documentation meeting applicable Arizona requirements. Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. Current First Aid and CPR certifications. Current Food Handler Certification. Valid Arizona driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to successfully complete applicable background and registry screenings, including required DES/DAAS checks.
