What you need
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or a closely related field</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">3+ years of in-vehicle lateral or longitudinal motion development experience</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">3+ years of experience working with MATLAB/Simulink</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and chassis components</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to lead a small project, demonstrate ownership, and take initiative to further improve features</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or a closely related field</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of industry experience with steering, brake systems, and/or chassis controls development</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of industry experience with ADAS features and/or autonomous vehicle controls</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong background in vehicle dynamics, system identification, optimization and control. Deep understanding and application experience in advanced model-based control techniques, including state estimation, Kalman filtering, linear and nonlinear control methods</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hardware hands-on experience highly preferred, including experience in dSpace rapid prototyping, Vector tools.</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated experience reviewing, categorizing, and analyzing field data to determine error states and failure modes</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Demonstrated experience with model-based design methods in Simulink for the creation, development, and enhancement of current and new features</span></span></p>
- <p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Algorithm development experience in any language (C, C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.)</span></span><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt;"> </span></span></p>
