What you need
- 2 years of experience in HVAC controls and building automation systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and BAS technologies.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex HVAC control issues.
- Experience with programming and configuring HVAC control systems, including DDC controllers and software.
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.
- Niagara (Niagara 4) Certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
- NICET Level I or II certification in Fire Alarm Systems (preferred or attainable within 12 months).
- Advanced knowledge of Honeywell BAS platforms (Spyder, CIPer, WEBs, EBI).
- Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC controls, DDC systems, and open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
- Experience providing advanced field service support, resolving complex technical issues, and coordinating onsite service activities.
- Strong customer communication, technical problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Industry certifications (NICET, ESA, OSHA, or manufacturer certifications).
- Experience with enterprise security platforms and IP-based systems.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and knowledge-sharing abilities.
- Knowledge of networking, structured cabling, and system integration.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with attention to quality and safety.
