ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is seeking a Paramedic To work as an Advanced Surgical assistant under the direction of our Doctors and Surgeons. As a Surgical Specialist, you will work under the supervision of a Dentist and/or Oral Surgeon as their “right hand.” You will support him/her in any and all tasks related to serving patients which may include pre and post operative care. If this sounds interesting, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Our Advanced Surgical Assistant/Paramedic performs a variety of duties within the center based on the needs of the practice. Below are a few responsibilities that you may hold: Help receiving and discharging patients, reviewing medical charts Help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal patient care Maintain equipment and organization of the surgical center Cultivating a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients, preparing them for treatment, and obtaining their dental records. Providing chair-side assistance and providing pre and post operative care. Preparing materials for impressions, taking dental x-rays, as directed by a dentist. Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment, preparing trayca s of instruments for procedures, and educating patients on postoperative and general oral health re . Handle all substances in accordance with Health and Safety policies. Be familiar and comply with all Health and Safety rules and guidance infection control. Performing additional office duties as needed to include scheduling and receiving patients, ordering supplies, and records management. Additional duties as assigned per state regulations or licensing requirements. Qualifications We’re searching for reliable, team-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, we are looking for the following skills, abilities, and experience Licensed/certified Paramedic Willingness to learn our processes and procedures Ability to partner with our Doctors to assure the best possible patient care ​ All candidates must possess valid certifications that comply with applicable state laws. What’s in it for you? The anticipated range for this position is $40-$50 /hour. Actual pay may vary based on experience, performance, and qualification . 4 weeks of paid vacation a year.
