Module Product & Reliability Engineering Intern
Job Description:
This is a summer
internship position working with the mmWave module design team at MACOM’s
Northampton, MA Center of Excellence. The candidate will be exposed to a
variety of engineering documentation relating to testing, analyzing and improving aerospace modules during their internship.
Examples include:
Work with experienced mechanical
designers to create full manufacturing documentation packages for complex
electromechanical assemblies.Create internal drafting
standards from verbal instructions.Update non-compliant drawings.3D Modeling using SolidWorks from
rudimentary sketches or verbal instruction.2D Drafting using SolidWorks
adhering to ASMEY14.5 and internal MACOM standards from rudimentary
sketches or verbal instruction.Keeping up to date and
maintaining passion for the latest advances in engineering documentation.Advocate for Drafting as a
function and core competency within the company.
