This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in artificial intelligence, process optimization and operational efficiency. What You Will Do: Partner with teams across the organization to identify challenges, explore AI solutions, and improve business processes. Evaluate workflows and recommend AI-driven improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and consistency. Research, test, and implement AI tools and automation technologies to support operational excellence. Analyze data, create dashboards, and develop visualizations that drive informed decision-making. Collaborate with employees to gather requirements, pilot new technologies, and measure results. Document processes, create training materials, and help teams adopt new AI-powered solutions. Communicate directly with machine operators and team members to collect data and support process improvements. Assist in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices. Stay current on emerging AI technologies, manufacturing trends, and industry best practices. Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Requirements Required Skills and Experience: Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer/Information Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents. Have an interest in artificial intelligence, process improvement, data analysis, and operational efficiency. Excellent people skills that include effective communication, teamwork, and active listening. Work independently by achieving goals with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills using root cause analysis. Ability to multitask and demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills. Results driven – ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Familiar with Python, SQL, Power BI, process mapping, workflow analysis, or lean manufacturing concepts.
