Airport Rental Agent

Description Our St. George airport team is looking for a dependable, personable team member to help travelers with their rental needs and keep daily branch operations running efficiently. This role combines customer service, sales, computer work, and hands-on vehicle responsibilities in a busy airport environment. You’ll work directly with customers throughout the rental process, from helping them select a vehicle and completing paperwork to answering questions and assisting with returns. You’ll also work closely with the fleet and operations team to keep vehicles available and ready for customers. What You’ll Do Welcome arriving customers and help them with reservations, rentals, extensions, and returns. Prepare rental agreements, collect payments, and enter information accurately into company systems. Introduce customers to available vehicle upgrades, protection options, and other rental products. Provide clear information about rental terms, policies, vehicle operation, and available services. Check vehicles for mileage, fuel level, cleanliness, and potential damage before and after rentals. Help keep vehicles presentable by assisting with basic cleaning and detailing when needed. Work with the operations team to track vehicles and help ensure the right vehicles are available when needed. Respond to customer questions, address problems, and find practical solutions in a professional manner. Maintain organized records and complete required paperwork and computer tasks. Help keep the branch, counter, and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and professional. Assist coworkers with other branch duties as business needs change throughout the day. What We’re Looking For Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of customers. Ability to learn and explain products and services while identifying sales opportunities. Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred. Comfortable using computers and entering information accurately. Able to prioritize tasks and remain productive during busy periods. Professional, dependable, and positive approach to working with customers and coworkers. Availability to work weekends and holidays when scheduled. Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history, with no more than 2 incidents/accidents within the past 3 years. Applicants under 21 must have a clean driving record. Ability to successfully complete required background check and drug screening. Capable of working independently while also contributing to a team. Ability to remain composed and professional when dealing with difficult or stressful customer situations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several responsibilities at once. Customer service or sales background preferred; paid training is available. Able to work effectively in the active, fast-paced environment of an airport rental location.
