What you'll do
- Conduct business location decision analyses to support client work and contribute to the Global Strategy team’s thought leadership in the workforce and labor area.
- Support the creation of executive-level quality reports.
What you need
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Human Resources Management, Finance, or a related field</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">1-3 years of relevant experience in finance, corporate real estate, planning, real estate development, economic development, logistics, management consulting, or a related discipline</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong analytical and computer skills, including familiarity with demographic and occupational data sources and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, CRE Navigator)</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with experience in project management and process mapping</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience supporting analyses that inform client decision-making.</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Financial modeling experience</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">GIS mapping experience</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Hands-on skills with Python, SQL, BI tools, and modern GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS).</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with labor-market analytics platforms (e.g., Lightcast/Emsi) and economic/fiscal impact modeling (e.g., IMPLAN, RIMS II).</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Prior consulting or economic development experience</span></span>
- <span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">MBA or other specialized master's degree</span></span>

Newmark seeks a full-time Location Strategy Consultant position in our expanding Newmark Global Strategy consulting practice. This position will be part of the Location Strategy team and will also support other service lines within the practice. This position will have responsibility for conducting a wide range of business location decision analyses to support client work and will be expected to contribute to the Global Strategy team’s thought leadership in the workforce and labor area.
We seek talented individuals who can work collaboratively within a strong team culture, effectively communicate with leadership, and work toward becoming subject matter experts in support of Newmark’s extensive brokerage network.
