What You’ll Do As an Animal Care Technician, you'll play an essential role in creating a safe, clean, healthy, and enriching environment for the dogs in our care. Working alongside our Kennel team, you'll help ensure every dog receives compassionate attention and the opportunity to thrive while waiting for their next chapter. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Providing daily animal care Maintaining a clean and safe environment Supporting enrichment and socialization activities Observing and communicating changes in behavior and health Helping our canines find their next home Every task matters. From preparing a meal to helping a new dog feel safe, your work will make a real difference. What We’re Looking For We're looking for someone who is passionate about animal welfare, takes pride in their work, and understands that excellent animal care requires both compassion and consistency. Have a genuine love and respect for animals. Are dependable, organized, and attentive to detail. Enjoys staying active and working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Are comfortable balancing animal care responsibilities with excellent customer service. Communicate effectively and work well with a team. Can approach animals and people with patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Are willing to learn, follow established procedures, and contribute to a safe and humane environment.
