Appliance Install Technician / Driver

Job Summary: The Appliance Install Technician is responsible for delivering, installing, and setting up appliances for customers. This role requires a strong understanding of appliance operation and installation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues. The technician ensures that all installations meet safety standards and customer satisfaction.rnKey Responsibilities:rnrnDelivery and Installation:rnrnSafely transport appliances to customer locations.rnInstall a variety of appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers, and more.rnEnsure appliances are installed according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.rnTest appliances to ensure proper operation after installation.rnrnCustomer Service:rnrnProvide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.rnEducate customers on appliance operation, care, and maintenance.rnMaintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with customers.rnrnTechnical Skills and Troubleshooting:rnrnDiagnose and resolve installation issues or problems with appliance operation.rnPerform minor repairs or adjustments as needed during installation.rnKeep up-to-date with new appliance technologies and installation techniques.rnrnSafety and Compliance:rnrnFollow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.rnEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including electrical and plumbing codes.rnUse personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools appropriately.rnrnDocumentation and Reporting:rnrnComplete installation documentation, including customer sign-off and feedback forms.rnMaintain accurate records of installations, services performed, and any issues encountered.rnReport any accidents, injuries, or safety violations to management immediately.rnrnrnQualifications:rnrnHigh school diploma or equivalent.rnValid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.rnPrevious experience in appliance installation, maintenance, or a related field is preferred.rnStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.rnBasic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.rnAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.rnExcellent communication and customer service skills.rnAbility to work independently and as part of a team.rnPhysical ability to lift and move heavy appliances and equipment.rnrnWorking Conditions:rnrnWork is performed in customer homes, requiring travel to various locations.rnPhysical demands include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.rnMay involve exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.rnrnAdditional Information:rnrnFull-time position with competitive salary and benefits.rnTraining provided for the right candidate.rnOpportunities for career advancement within the company.
