Position Summary We are currently hiring healthcare professionals who are passionate about customer service to join our Team as an Ophthalmic Medical Assistant. The Ophthalmic Medical Assistant will support a high-volume We are actively recruiting f or an ASC Medical Assistant t o join our growing team at Midwest Eye Center Eastgate Surgery Center. Responsibilities Assist with Laser procedures Assist with Room turnover for surgeries Obtaining and documenting patient history Administering eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions to the eye as ordered by the physician Performing office duties and clinical tasks - entering data into EMR Providing patient services Obtaining supplies from other areas as needed Returning supplies and equipment to the appropriate location Assisting in keeping the Central Sterile area neat and orderly Effecting handling health or safety hazards for self and patients Reporting any unusual occurrences or incidents accurately to the Administrative Director and the Medical Director and Nurse Manager.
