What you'll do
- Assist the lead teacher with classroom activities and support children's emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and build professional rapport with families.
What you need
- Requires a high school diploma or GED, passing all background checks, and the physical ability to work around small children and lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- At least 30 days of licensed childcare experience is preferred.

Springview Academy of Mt. Pleasant
is a licensed childcare center seeking
Assistant Teachers for our Pre-K classroom!
To be
QUALIFIED
for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, the ability to pass all background checks, and prefer a minimum of 30 days of experience working in licensed childcare facility.
Required Shift:
Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Compensation:
$15 - $16 per hour,
based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
