What you'll do
- We are looking for a detail-oriented, curious Assistant Production Planner who is excited to build a career in apparel production at Vuori! As an entry-level individual contributor on our Production Planning team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the operational details that help keep production moving—from purchase order administration and WIP maintenance to cost validation, reporting, and vendor communication. Working closely with Production Planners and cross-functional partners, you will help maintain accurate data, resolve discrepancies, and respond to time-sensitive needs. If you enjoy connecting the dots, working with data, and turning details into meaningful progress, this is an opportunity to contribute to the team while building a strong foundation in production planning. What you'll get to do:
- Own PO administration, including uploads, delivery closeouts, and approved updates to delivery dates, costs, shipping methods, and product information.
- Monitor PO status and confirmations, partnering with Production Planners to resolve exceptions and ensure accurate confirmation in the system.
- Maintain WIP data through approved updates and correct mismatches across WIP, ERP, and reporting.
- Support cost validation and purchase price variance activity, including invoice corrections, approved cost updates, log maintenance, and vendor communication
- Review data discrepancies with planners, complete approved corrections, and notify vendors of missing information, upcoming milestones, or past-due dates.
- Maintain seasonal PO files and support vendor-facing document distribution.
- Complete ad hoc reporting, analysis, and system updates accurately and on time.
- Partner with Production Planners, Logistics, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
