We're looking for a new grad or early-career attorney who wants real courtroom reps and hands-on training, not a firm where you'll sit on document review for a year before getting in front of a judge. Why start here: No WC experience required; we'll train you on California workers' compensation law and procedure from day one. Direct mentorship from firm partners on live cases, not just shadowing. Fast track to running hearings, depositions, and cross-examinations yourself. Settlement incentive bonus on top of base salary from the start. What you'll be doing: Represent clients in hearings, trials, depositions, cross-examinations, and settlement negotiations (with mentorship support). Prepare and file legal documents; review medical/legal records to build cases. Communicate directly with clients, insurers, and medical providers. Work alongside case managers and legal assistants who support your caseload administratively. Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations. Maintain compliance with firm policy, ethical standards, and CA WC regulations. Required: JD from an accredited law school Active member, California State Bar, in good standing Strong legal research and writing skills Preferred: Any exposure to CA workers' compensation law (internship, clerkship, etc.) — not required Comfort with legal case management software; Apple/Mac environments Bilingual English/Spanish Compensation: Starting $100,000 plus base DOE, PLUS settlement incentive bonus.
