With expertise spanning civil/site engineering, environmental permitting, transportation infrastructure, construction management, and advanced surveying technologies, we are committed to delivering high-quality, timely solutions to local, state, and federal clients.We're growing our municipal water and wastewater team here in Albany and looking for an Associate Designer to support drawing production on infrastructure projects for municipal clients across the Capital District and greater NYS.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and revise plans, profiles, sections, and details for municipal water and wastewater projects in AutoCAD Civil 3D under the direction of engineers and senior designersDraft existing conditions, utility layouts, and record plans from survey data, field notes, and as-built recordsMaintain project drawing files, sheet sets, and office CAD standardsAssist with quantity takeoffs and figures for engineering reports and cost estimatesSupport field investigations and data collection as neededGrow drafting and design skills through mentorship from senior design and engineering staffQualificationsA.S. degree in CAD, drafting, civil engineering technology, or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school0-4 years of drafting experience, civil/site or utility work preferred (internships count)Working knowledge of AutoCAD, with Civil 3D exposure preferredAttention to detail and the discipline to follow established CAD standardsValid driver's license in good standingBenefitsThe base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting.
