Builds technical and coordination capabilities while learning leading practices that support effective MEP system integration. Key Responsibilities: Supports coordination of MEP systems across design and construction phases to help ensure system integration and alignment with project objectives. Collaborates with architects, engineers, project engineers, and trade partners to gather coordination information and support resolution of technical issues. Participates in MEP coordination meetings and assists with tracking action items, documenting updates, and communicating information to project stakeholders. Supports coordination reviews by identifying potential conflicts between building systems and escalating issues to senior MEP coordination staff, including confirming spacing requirements and equipment access for material and equipment installation. Maintains coordination documentation, including models, logs, and project records that support project alignment and system integration including review and documentation of RFI and submittals. Develops MEP coordination knowledge by working with experienced coordinators and project teams while applying established safety practices and lessons learned during field coordination and system installation activities, including participating in system walkdowns to identify missing or incomplete elements prior to system start-up and observing installation quality under supervision.
